Terry Bunting

Terry beamed down from a Federation Battle Cruiser sometime during the last century, and assumed the identity of a tall, skinny lad with a big nose. After his early attempts to become an astronaut and then a pro footballer came to failure (ask him about it) he turned his adolescent attentions to the guitar.

Being a skinhead (!) he liked playing chart hits and reggae until one day his mate brought Led Zeppelin II home from school. By the time the hallowed disc had stopped spinning Terry realised this was the greatest thing he had ever heard, grew his hair and rocked it up. After a few stints with school and college bands he formed Zorro with our very own Kevin BJ Longman, Zorro went on to turn professional and enjoyed success as a touring band. Several post-Zorro bands followed, notably The Veil which had an album and several singles out in the 80's. Terry also found time to become founder member of popular local outfit Boys Will Be Boys, spending the best part of ten years alongside ex-Zorro front man Dave Smith.

For the past 16 years Terry has been the guitarist with Worlds Apart, playing mostly the music he grew up with. Now a fully-fledged member of the Docs he is looking forward to teaming up with old mate BJ Longman, and being part of a twin guitar line up.

Terry has lots of favourite guitarists - Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Paul Kossoff, Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend, Tony Iommi, Joe Satriani and Joe Bonamassa, His influences are... anyone who he's stolen a lick or riff from!

Favourite guitars : PRS Customs and Fender Stratocasters. Terry has a burgeoning collection of both of these.
Favourite amps : Loud Fenders and even louder Marshalls! (Hes got a JMP-1 at the moment which Billy Corgan uses, so it must be good - Stag)
Favourite gigs ever : The Who at Wembley Arena in 2000, The Stines at Wembley Stadium in 1990 and the mighty Zeppelin at Earls Court in 1975 (yes, he really was there.)
Favourite TV : The Avengers, The Champions, Star Trek (most sci-fi actually) and Life On Mars.
Favourite actors : Patrick McNee, Patrick Stewart, Tom Hanks.
Fave actresses : Any Avengers girl plus Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane
Fave footy team : Terry is a Norwich fan for his sins and has paid to see some right old crap this year. (Gary Doherty for £750,000 - thanks for that!!! Muhahahaah - Stag)
Hobbies : Drinking (HE'LL FIT IN WELL!!!), walking, cycling and trying/buying musical gear!
